Hi,
just need to know :
how should you use the ultrasound system controls to optimise your TRANSVERSE LEFT KIDNEY image AND also, what pt. postions and breathing techniques should you use??
i would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

Always depends on the patient. Try decubing them, going through the ribs, having them take deep breaths and holding. Try everything. It depend on body habitus mostly on what you do. |

HI,
Make sure you try scanning through different angles as well. Trying to move your trdx as much as possible to find the best window: anterior, posterior, and coronal surfaces. Try scaning trough the ribs by using a trdx with a smaller footprint and using the spleen as a window. Make sure your applying adequate pressure and using held respiration. hope this helps! |
