hi,
i don't know much about them but as a student having been there let me reccomend making sure their accrediated. also asking about the professors experience in the field. the number of clinical hours and classes required. compare their program to others. ask about what specialties they offer. and how many of the graduates from the previous yr passed their boards. there really hard and in the us around 50% pass as a whole so this knowledge is important. I attend kcma in ohio and defineatly reccomend it if u decide u want to travel its a great christian school! |

Hi all, I went to Sanford-Brown in Houston. Though there were some bugs (as with all programs) I think it was wonderful. The school in Houston is accredited and I am a registered sonographer and got a great job directly out of school. I think it just depends on teachers and a students willingness to learn and not goof off.... we had some of those in our class.... but as a whole I am glad I did it and would do it again!
Oh just FYI we did have great clinical sites and the clinical instructor was awesome at placing you as close to home as humanly possible! |

The waiting list/amount of people applying etc... for the community college in Dallas is quite long. Sandford Brown in Dallas is accredited but unsure if it is a worthwhile expense (extremely expensive). I do feel that they are money driven but if they can educate and give you the experience/training needed I'm willing to invest. Just curious if anyone has any experience w/this school.
Thanks |
