I have been told it doesn't. I can't believe that this is true.

The physician is responsible for all diagnosis that comes out of his office. It is also up to that MD what he accepts as film to base ihs diagnosis on. I would think QC would be important in every case.. as for what's required.. that depends on the State usually.

Pete's correct, unless you're specifically talking about mammo.
Mammo requirements are very explicit and very strict and are regulated by the feds.
