Intravenous Urography:
Is the examination of the kidneys, ureters and bladders after the intravenous introduction of contrast media.

Retrograde Pylography:
This is the radiological examination of the pelvi-calyceal systems of the kidney and ureters after the ordinary IVU has failed to demonstrate the level of the obstruction.

Cystogram:
Radiological investigation of the urinary bladder and urethra after the introduction of contrast medium.

Urethrogram:
Radiological investigation of the male urethra by the introduction of contrast medium.
Ascending urethrography outlines the anatomy of the whole length of the urethra.

Lithotripsy:
The full name is EXTRA CORPOREAL SHOCH WAVE LITHOTRPSY.
This is a non invasive method of treating the calculi in the body with out use of surgery.
This method of shattering the calculi under pressure, so the calculi are broken up into pieces and are passed out by patient in fine sand like grains. It usually done for the:
• Renal calculi
• Gall bladder calculi
• Salivary gland calculi

Renal dialysis:
Is the process of removing wast products and excess water from the body.
Renal dialysis or Heamodialysis is the application of dialysis for the treatment of renal failure.
