Job Description:
Demonstrates compassion, caring and respect while working within the scope of LEAD INTERVENTIAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST, providing excellence in Interventional procedures for safe, accurate, efficient and personal service to our patients, families and caregivers at all times while effectively leading the Intervential Team. Works collaboratively with all healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization. In addition, the Lead Intervential Technologist is expected to perform the duties of an Intervential Radiologic Technologist, and must participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited 2-4 years Radiologic Technology Program.

License/Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T). Must have or eligible for ARRT's Vascular Intervential Radiography Certification (VIR). Must hold current Radiology Technologist Certification with the State of Washington Department of Health. Current CPR/ACLS required.

Experience and/or Training: Pacs/Imagecast/LastWord/CareCast experience required. Previous leadership experience preferred. Prefer previous experience in a hospital environment. Prefer 2 years of experience in performing advanced interventional radiologic procedures.

Special Skills / Demands: Basic computer and keyboarding skills required. Demonstrates a basic working knowledge of MS Office. Able to use, teach and troubleshoot all aspects of Pacs and IDX ImageCast. Must be able to perform work during periods of crisis and emergency situations. Must be available to participate in 'after hours' call program. Must be able to lift/move moderate/heavy loads such as patients and mobile equipment on a routine basis. Must have strong skills in anatomy and pathology. Needs ability to perform physical requirements of the job.

Variable start times: 0600-1630; 0630-1700; 0730-1800.
