Okay here it is in a nut shell. I was in Florida looking for a career and found this school that sold me a dream of a quick class but with the same pay as regular Radiology. Yes it cost 13K and We crammed so much information into a 7 month class that my head just about exploded but I finished it. Before I finished my externship I moved to Maine. Now I am here. What can/should I do. Can I even use this license here? I realize that you guys normally don't like Basics. But I sware I didn't know. If I knew all of this before hand I would have never taken the class. What should I do?

Even in Florida, you were not licensed as a full RT - you had a Basic Machine Operators license.

The state of Maine web site http://www.maine.gov/pfr/professionallicensing/professions/radiological/index.htm also describes licensing for Limited Radiographer.

They reference Chapter 1 here http://www.maine.gov/sos/cec/rules/02/477/477c001.doc and

Chapter 2 here http://www.maine.gov/sos/cec/rules/02/465/465c002.doc, which outline the requirements of a limited radiographer license.
