Hi. I'm a current Rad tech student in socal, usa. I'm researching for a bone densitometry paper due really really soon and would like some (lots) of help if possible.

my main questions, of which i can't seem to find a definate answer is:
besides central dxa, are any other modalities as acurate and precise given the technological improvements? i mean, is qct and qus numbers a better predictor than before? i found this other forum stating a patient who had qct and then had dxa. qct said she had osteoporosis and dxa said no.

any help would be appreciated.
thanks - kate
