hello there ultrasound techs

my girlfriend is pregnant and we had our 20 week ultrasound and the tech there confirmed that the fetus is a boy.... she was a very confident tech and did a very good job taking the pictures. i would like a second opinion as we are now at 31 weeks and the thought of old wives tales and such are really bothering us as we have already begun to buy baby boy clothes.. either sex would be wonderful but would like to know before we get a surprise at birth. i can email the pictures to you.... please help and thank you in advance.

They have been known to be wrong so you may want to buy generic until you meet him/her.

I am going to disagree with the previous post. Ultrasound may have used to be wrong, but with the new technology, it is very rare! Especially if you do wait until the 20 week mark. Just have them keep checking each time you go. If they saw a penis, there's pretty much no mistaking that at the 20 + week mark. there is maybe a 10% if that, chance of u/s being wrong.
