I had been a tech. for nearly 20 yrs. have been working in a different field for 10 yrs and thinking of getting back into x-ray part time. need to get my aart certifict wondering if I would have to retest and if their are any programs that are out there that could help. Thanks

Here's the good news/bad news.

IF you kept your certificaiton current or went to 'retired' status, paid your dues every year, no problem.

However, if you let your certification lapse and did not attempt to recertify for the last 10 years? According to the ARRT website, you will not be allowed to sit the exam without starting over.
