Interesting that you mentioned RAM. We have the Toshiba 32 slice, now. And, sometimes when we're doing a really nasty trauma patient (Head, Cervical, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, w/ T & L Spine Recons), the scanner just freezes up. Sometimes it's during retro-recon. Sometimes it's during transfer to PACS.

I'm not much of a computer guru, but if my computer at home was having difficulty managing several tasks at the same time, I would think that a faster processor or more RAM would fix it. I've asked Toshiba about adding RAM and I've been told that it's not possible. I find that interesting.
