Does anyone know of any type of documentation or methodologies to decrease IP MRI utilization??

I don't know of anyone who has successfully dealt with overutilization of MR, other than to formalize the P&P and safety guidelines so that anything that falls outside of specific guidelines requires the pre-approval of a radiologist. Then it falls to your own medical staff to police their colleagues.
