I am saying that, should you decide at some future point that you want to move into management, they require BS/BA or MS/MA. If the degree is in healthcare administration, so much the better .. but a business degree is just fine. It's likely that a business degree will also be acceptable for teaching - what's important is that the candidate have at least a 4-year degree.
MRI is mostly still on-the-job with certification not yet required (although desirable). But like all the other specialties, it won't be long before there will be separate, formal education required.

The reason why i am getting my AS from a community college even though im in a Hospital based program, is because i took all my pre reqs at the community college and at the end of the program we get our degree from the CC. |
