Hello everyone,
My local hospital in PA is giving the HOBET Exam before entrance to their school of radiology. Does anyone know what this is? I have emailed them and have not heard back. Thanks a lot. K  |

HOBET (Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test)
If you’re thinking of attending college to prepare for a career in the allied health fields such as nursing, radiology, dental hygiene, etc., you may be required to take the Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET). Not all schools require this test, but a great many do.

There are a few good resources out there for people looking to prepare for the HOBET. Plenty of people claim studying isn't necessary, and for people with remarkable memories, it probably isn't. But for me it was. I found this HOBET study resource and used two of the site's recommendations. Anyway, I hope that helps. Good luck! |
