It is strongly encouraged to get this vaccination for my program but it is not manditory. Who opted to get it, and who did not and why? For the ones who did, did you just do the first one or the 3-shot series?
Thanks |

A very scary vaccine. I know a huge number of health care professionals very injured by these vaccines (as well as teens and babies)
YOu can take an OSHA exemption to avoid this vaccine
See much on my webpages including link to OSHA

snakken's experience is obviously different than mine, but after 30 years, I have never known anyone injured by the hepatitis vaccine.
As clinical professionals who are regularly exposed to infectious diseases, it makes sense to me to take advantage of any innoculation offered by my employer.
I've done the 3-shot series and never been sorry that I did.

Sorry to say, I'm in a position where people all over the US write to me regarding their injuries. Anyone want to email me privately, I'll provide some case info.

I just wanted to update. I decided the smart thing to do was to go ahead and get the Hep. B vaccine. Since then I have already had my 1st and 2nd, with no problems at all. My 3rd and final will be in December. I didnt think it was worth taking the chance, as I could just see myself being afraid of any blood, body fluids or anything, had I not been vaccinated. Plus, I was told most of the hospitals in my area, before they will hire you, require it.... |
