Hi all!

I am very new to MRI and have recently joined a company, who have put me in the deep end a bit (because they think knowing about how to use a computer will help me in MRI?!?!?!?!).

What we have is MRI images (taken in volume) of infected lungs. We need to find if there is anyway of decting how many granulnoma/legions there is in an MRI scan.

We would also like to find out volume of infection and size/mass of legion if posible.

I have spoken to a few companies who specialise in CT programs, which they say would not work as their software can only detect CT scans or Nodules.

Even if it is a simple proghram that would allow me to "colour" a legion and rotate the image in 3d (like a pjn file) so I could double check my colours.

Or If I could export the MRI data to a program like 3d Max.

As you can see im well stumped and any help would be amazing!

Thanks for any that look/reply at this topic!
