Does anyone know of a way I can get into a program and still support my family. Is there financing available or unemployment available for me that anyone knows of? I've heard that as long as im working I can NOT draw unemployment benefits BUT I want to get into the rad tech program where I can help people. The job Im in now I absolutely hate and I so badly want to work in a hospital or clinic where I can help people. I watched "Patch" Adams last night and just reaffirms what it is I want to do..help peoople! CHILDREN mostly.

Im 39 yrs. old and have a 15 yr. old son and 12 yr. old daughter. My wife doesnt make a whole lot of money but is very supportive of me and what I want to do. The job im in now ive only been at for about 1 yr. Before that I was at my job for 13 yrs. and my wife tells me if thats what I really want to do then I need to go do it, only problem is I dont know how Im going to provide for my family. I know school would be a FT. job in itself...any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

look for evening shift positions....

could be any kind of work.. - security, tech aid, there's lots of them out there. forgive me if i can't think of them off the top of my head, but they're there.

one student i know was working night shift security at one of the hospitals, which is how he found out about the radiology program.
