About the position:
General Radiologist – again they will look at someone who is not MQSA certified, but they must be willing to be MQSA certified. They will also look at someone who is known to be a specialist in any area. They want to know of anyone interested.
Call is 1:3 – there is nighthawk coverage from 7pm to 6am seven nights a week.
Vacation is 6-10 weeks, depending on how many RADS they have and how much work there is.
Salary will be discussed with the head of the group. Being a not-for-profit organization, they are in a sound financial position, and are competitive and fair, but do like to get to know the skill level and personality fit before they discuss this in great detail. There is a Partnership track for the person joining the Radiology group
They have 2 new digital mammo machines. They will look at a General Radiologist before they highly considered a Women’s Imager.
