Well I agree with you wholely on the phototimers and their use. Only because most photocells are either not calibrated correctly and if they are the techs can't center worth a darn. Meaning that if you can't put the anatomy directly over the photocells then the AEC will shut off either too early or too late. But that's not the equiptment issue it is the TECHS!

Again all I have to say is back to basics!

If you can't do at least the basics, then you shouldn't be in this field. And boy, have I seen some "techs" that shouldn't be in this field.
