I'm starting back to college in August (after a 20 year hiatus) and plan to major in Radiography. A local hospital has a program where they pay your tuition (up to $5,000) a year, I believe, if you major in an approved program and agree to work for them after you graduate. Approved programs include Radiography, Nursing, Sonography, etc. Contract goes "year for year", if they pay for two years you have to sign a contract to work for them 2 years. Anyone ever heard of this? Appreciate all opinions, experiences, pro's and con's. Not sure what the agreed pay rate would be thou. Thanks in advance. |
