I dont know about anone else but i have brain farts sometimes and have to actually stop and think if it is cephlad or caudad angle any tips on how to remeber like any little sayings or phrases?

well some people pronounce the words differently put i always pronounced cephlad as kinda like "ce-ph-al-head" which always helped me to remember its angled superior or toward the head and then caudad is obviously gonna be the opposite, inferior or towards the feet. hope that helped somewhat!

I think i asked it wrong i know what cephlad and caudad means i an curious to know tricks for position things like l5-si and knee and caldwell as to how not to forget which way to angle?

ohhhh sorry about that i must have misunderstood what you asking. hmmm i dont really know i tricks to remember which way angle. i guess once you do it enough times you just know, so practice, practice, practice! good luck!

Once you know your anatomy pretty well, it will become more obvious which ways you should angle. Other than that, I can't really think of any quick tricks to remembering which way to angle either. Just think about the part your examining and which way you need to angle to get the image you need. You'll get it down eventually, don't worry.

here is a trick might help
face up= angle up "cephalad"
face down= angle down "caudad"
except ap Towne and ap Coccyx
