Distance, Time, and Barriers?
Three methods that can be used to control radiation exposure levels are distance, time, and barriers. Distance is obviously an effective method, because beam intensity is governed by the inverse square law. Time is governed by time the generator is turned on, and by limiting the time that the beam is directed at a certain area. Any type of barrier placed between the radiation source and the subject. _________________ CTDave
