What projection of the skull shows the odontoid in the foramen magnum? Method name?

The AP axial or the townes view.

My guess (& I really mean guess) is gonna be the SMV projection, because in the Townes you see the dorsum sellae & the posterior clinoid in the shadow of the foramen magnum Confused Confused

Of course, the Fuch's method for the C-spine shows the odontoid in the foramen magnum also Exclamation

I think you are probably right. I don't know what I was thinking. That's why I need to keep answering questions like this. I feel so dumb sometimes.

Hey, we're all in this together!! We have to learn somehow! There'
s no reason to feel dumb at all...we are all learning & we learn by being wrong sometimes. I know when I've missed something on a quiz or test, I'm more likely to remember it later on!! I'm really curious as to what the answer is! Have a great weekend Very Happy
