One of our radiologists is asking this question. Is there any documentation from any of the major organizations that states if a person previously diagnosed with breast cancer has been cancer free for some time, can they resume getting screening mammograms? Or if they are still getting diagnostic mammograms, does the radiologist have to be physically present when they get it?

You may find the answer to your question on the FDA's Mammography Web Site.
