I'm also a very anal person, I've been doing daily QA's for the past 18 years on all the scanner's I've work with, it's just making sure the scanner is working properly.

The state of Virginia radiation safety board will have the recommend QA testing requirements for your scanner.

Hope this help's Very Happy

I have our night technologists do daily QA every morning. We do something similar in MRI, as well.

At the very least, daily QA gives you the chance to catch something early before it turns into something big. Your field engineers will appreciate this.
