Here is a question:::
What is the MOST common type of film used for recording CT images??
a. paper
b. thermal
c. single eulsion
d.double emulsion.

so... i'm thinking it's between (a) and (b) I remember something about my teacher saying that paper was used for printing.. but.. i'm not sure if it was for Ultra sound or CT.. (he is an ultra sound tech too.. and LOVES to talk about US in class even though it's a CT course!!)

anyone one have any idea??
also... is there such a thing as a "GRAPHIC INPUT DEVICE" included on the operator's console???

Also... where IS the CT raw data storage device located??
a. Host computer
b. PACS
c. Array procesor
D. scan controller
E. gantry.

I would have to say Host Computer... but some of my class mates said that they thought that the gantry itself can store some raw data... AND some other classmates are saying that the Array procesor would do the job....

Check out this next question::::

The ___ is a component NOT norally located in the gantry of a modern CT system.
a. collimators
b. x ray tube
c. detectors
d. host computer
e. keyboard
I would have to say D. and E. BUT>> there is only 1 right answer!!!!!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

Help please... Smile
Thanks

Question 1:
Bad question. Thermal printers use to use thermal paper. Or today this could represent a Thermal Dry Laser film. I would still vote for B=

#2 Graphic input device could be a mouse that will place a circle on the imager to record the ROI( region of intrest) or a electronic pen that will draw lines , arrows or annonations on the images.

#3: Raw data stored on the host computer.

#4: E: the keyboard!

There you go! Let everyone know what your instructors answers are.

If this was my instructor and I was paying for the course I would ask him to stick to the subject. If that does not work, why not go to the director of the
dept.
