What is the CR location for a lateral projection of the sella turcica? Is there a tube angle?

I think it is 1 and 1/2 inches superior and 1 and 1/2 inches posterior to the Upper ear attachment, with no angle.

It's been a while since I looked at it and I'm trying to do it from memory. Am I right?

You're close, but I believe it's 3/4 of an inch anterior & 3/4 of an inch superior to the EAM, with no angle. Does anyone know if this a common procedure?

for ONLY the sellatursica the central ray goes to 3/4 anterior and 3/4 superior of the EAM. THERE IS NO TUBE ANGULATION.
if whole lateral skull the central ray goes to 2" above EAM

Lateral sella tursica would be used to check for a bony growth or tumor.
More than likely, it is for a pre-teen or pre-cocious child (maturing faster
than his/her chronological age).
