Yes. Remember that care of the patient comes first ... no matter what.
Keep your eyes and ears open - remember to look and listen more than you talk.
Remember to not take things personally - other staff will not cut you a break because you're a student. Lose the pride - learn to take it with a grain of salt and resolve to work more efficiently.
Ask questions, lots of questions, but remember not to interrupt others.
You know. Standard manners kind of stuff.
Enjoy it! It'll be really different, you've got an opportunity to learn exciting things, gross things, boring things.
Have fun
Hey Pete! You out there? What about some words of wisdom from you and CTDave?

my only words will seem strange... but pick the meanest, nastiest technologist and hang around her (it's ALWAYS a woman) for a while. If you can get on her good side she will teach you everything you need to know..
If not, the fact you are on her good side will keep you on the good side of everyone else there because you must be something special. |

Not so much.
Check with your program - they require some sort of uniform. Stick with what they recommend. Your demeanor will give you away, you're going to look like a student no matter what. Don't try to be anything else, just soak everything up like a sponge.
Good luck, and have fun
