Hello!
I am a clinical instructor at my facility who does not get much extra time to work with the students, unless we have some down time. I have been looking for ideas for uncomplicated clinical education seminars. I have not been able to find a site specifically designed for clinical instructors yet, so any other help I could gather would be greatly appreciated.
Any tips or suggestions for doing a good job at being a clinical instructor are
welcome also.
Thanks and make it a great day!

I would try picking a topic and doing mini seminars. Try upper extremities and then focus on lower arm or upper arm. Take the time when you can and find out what the students need refreshers on, they are always having difficulties with one certain view so let them decide. Have fun with them, set up scenerios and let them figure out what to do. Good Luck

JCERT.org web site might have some infomation. and of course ARRT/ASSRT sites.
As for life experiance as a CI, the best suggestion I could give is to be supportive and have ears that listen and support those furture RT 's. _________________ iraydee8
