CIIP Certification

A new certification is available out there. It is the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional. Check out [url]siimweb.org[/url] for some more information about the ABII/ARRT designation. Our PACS administrator just got the certification 1 of 96 in the country.

I'm just curious if there are anymore CIIPs out there who might like to share thier experience and any pointers.

I realize this is rediculously late but I just joined the group. I took the recent exam in Sept. 08 and passed. It required a lot of on the job knowledge. The books are good but common sense/knowledge took over for most of the questions. They are working on getting CEU options posted on the ABII website so folks that are not ARRT certified will know where to get credits. All ARRT credits for techs will go toward the CIIP CEUs.
