hi,
these days i am looking in to different schools and trying to apply to as many as possible so by next yr this time i might have at least 1 or more acceptance. well i have some questions,
i found this associate program near home , i would say very good but very expansive, like for ultrasound associate course 20,000 - 25,000, and a lil more for the radiology program, i have already applied to this college.

ok now i called another school (not so close to home probebly we will relocate for that one)but they r offering a 2 yr diploma/certificate program and this will cost me around 8,500 for the whole thing and the best part is that the hospital offers a very good scholarship program to every accepted student, that's if the student signs contract with the hospital to work there for the next 2-3 yrs every expanse is paid in full by the hospital and here is what there web site exactly says
Scholarship recipients will receive all of the employment and support benefits offered to students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology Program. All costs associated with tuition, residence, and books are paid in exchange for a contracted agreement of employment
SO MY QUESTION WILL BE ......... do u think there is some kind of catch with this kind of program , or should i be looking for some thing specific and is it better to go for an associate program then to have diploma?

Because i already have a bachelors in science with some medical experience but not from USA should it matter, the only reason i am doing this is to prepare my self for the masters because all the masters programs require a minimum of 3-4 yrs of rt experience plus the ARRT.

all these colleges r accredited by the The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

i would really appreciate any advice and input.
thank you
