"so when I start going by myself " ... not likely any time soon. Students don't go to the OR solo .. and even new hires (RT's) don't go to the OR solo on their first day. Relax. You'll get to that point in your training soon enough.

It's good that you are wanting to be so familiar with the C-arm, but you will get the training you need in clinicals and on the job. My clinical advisor always tells us to go to surgery every chance we get because those that shy away from going to the OR are the ones who end up getting sent to the OR. If you have any down time at your clinical site, go play with the buttons ( OK, not the exposure button!!) on the C-arm to make yourself familiar with it. As long as the facility is all right with that, of course. Take a tech with you to help you.

Hey angelb,

of course you will get the training you need on the job. Besides that, go to the library and borrow out books about the usage of a C-Arm . Another easy way to get information: Google it! I tried and found a lot of helpful websites.

Regards
