Hello, I'm looking for any useful information/advice about changing my career. I am currently a NDT (nondestructive technician) and I'm very interested in going into medical radiology. I deal with industrial x-rays and ultrasonics and I'm not sure what, if any, previous courses will carry over. What are some good schools to attend and what do they require to apply? Any tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanx! |

Your best resource for information about schooling/certification is from them, here ... http://www.arrt.org
In the education/CE link on the left, you'll find information about requirements, and there is a listing of ACCREDITED programs - that word is key, as, if you attend a program that is not accredited, you will not be eligible to take the national exam when you graduate, even if you're the best student in the country.
Good luck to you!
