I had a MRI done and I don't go to the doctor until next week. I suffer from
severe back pain. Can someone give me an idea of whats wrong with my back. Here is my Mri of the Lumbar Spine results:
Clinical History: Low back pain with numbness on and off for years. No Known trauma. Multibanar and multi-echo images were acquired with a
.7 Tesla open magnet. There is degeneration of the disc at 1S-S1 level
with focal left paracentral disc herniation compressing the thecal sac.The rest of the discs appear normal and there is no spinal stenosis. There is
no intraspinal abnormality. Para soft tissues appear normal.
Impression: Degenerative disc disease at L5-S1 with focal left paracentral
disc herniation.
I would gladly appreciate any comments or help
with this reading.
