hmmm you have to wonder why .. if this is actually an image that came off the internet, why a NJ radiographer would post a single image to an anonymous forum to get an opinon, rather than show to their rad.

Against the letter of HIPAA? Obviously not. But it certainly flirts with violating the spirit.

The point is that people ought to be able to trust that their private medical information is safe and kept private.

For those of you who think that because "it's a public figure and most likely is not even an image of his shoulder since he's been pitching fine" please - you need another course in HIPAA! Whether or not a person is a public figure has nothing to do with anything. Please re-read the standards for patient privacy.
