Nice diagram there Papa. Just curious though, what kind of film are you using? Cassette types? Bucky? Very Happy I'm a big fan of manual technique. I honestly feel like a majority of the up and coming students are being cheated without getting a solid background with manual numbers. My first day on the job in a new facility I always make sure I can figure out what exams need what kind of numbers. When I worked as a travel staffer it was great knowledge to have.

man, you would ask me film speed, wouldn't you....

ummm...... i believe it's 400 speed? not too sure. i use these techniques on the CR equipment at the office here and on the CR and DR equipment at the hospital on the weekends and i know they work. not 100 % sure on type of film.

i know at the office we have fuji CR, and at the hospital we have a phillips DR, if that helps

I liked Papa's diagram too but am curious if you really shoot everything at 70 kVp?? I'm currently on my clinicals and my site uses AEC most of the time but I'd like knowing what I'm doing more with manual techniques. Sometimes it's hard to get my mind around it. I wish it was as simple as the diagram but I don't think it is.
