I got to do this one on Friday night on my 5 year old after a trip to the ER. The tech let me postion and take it , even though I'm his mom and I wasn't scheduled but since I'm a studen they let me take it. I scanned it so the quality isn't the greatest.

That is great, but when you say you weren't scheduled, does that mean you weren't there as a student? But they let you take the xray? Interesting. _________________ Hocking College Radiology Rocks! |

Actually, depending on the state, it may be illegal.
You're allowed, under the auspices of the program you attend, to use ionizing radiation under the direct supervision of a technologist. But when you were not scheduled, you were not there as a student. Program hours are x to x .. so you were there as John Q Citizen.
Sounds harsh, but technically .... |
