I am an ultrasound student trying to prepare for the ultrasound exams. I am planning to take physics, abd,gyn,vascular, and vascular physics. I had good luck w/the Appleton and Lang book in the past for my x-ray exam but I've heard many times that, for ultrasound, the A&L is a waste of money. I would like to know if anyone knows the best review books to study for these exams. Thanks so much! |

I just took my abdomen registry and passed. I bought Abdominal Sonography Quiz Cards by Edelman, Abdominal Sonography Review: A Q&A Review for the ARDMS Abdomen Specialty Exam (Plastic Comb) and mock CD to match. I used the Davies book and cd together. The CD was very helpful since it gives you the questions in a multiple choice form and it gives you explanations of the answers. If you are interested in these i have mine i would like to sell. The CD and cards are like new and the book has the correct answers highlighted. Just post me back if you would be interested. Hey LMay
How is the idea of getting books, may be from some other author. There are pretty good number of books which would help you in your registration. You can go for Abdominal Ultrasound Study Guide and Exam Review, Exam Preparation for Diagnostic Ultrasound: Abdomen and OB/GYN, Ultrasound Review of the Abdomen, Male Pelvis & Small Parts etc. The plus point is you can order these books online also. So I would suggest get any one of these book and start preparing as soon as possible.

I have 4 days left on Edelman ESP's X-Zone for ARDMS Breast Registry. It is available today, Sept. 8 until Sunday, September 11, until 4:57 PM. Paypal would be the easiest to pay & then I will send you login information.
I also have tons of notes & research & extra images outlining Davie's Breast Exam (basically the whole CD Mock Exam) & Edelman's Breast Seminar Workbook in Microsoft Word and Excel format. Again, paypal is the easiest and I can email them to you. Contact me with your email address for more info. |

I am interested in edelmans breast sonography workbook. I have just stated training in breast u/s and here his workbook is wonderful. what did u think and how does it compare to davies? I would love to here feedback and get a quote. my e-mail is arg2@pvhs.org
