Does anyone know a way to simplify beam restrictors for me?

X-ray's are generated in all directions, sort of like a bare lightbulb. A beam restrictor limits the generated radiation to a desired area by blocking the unwanted radiation and allowing the wanted radiation to be focused (but not really) on an object.
