I am currently an RT student in NYC and I am about to enter the clinical phase of the program. In order to work at a clinical site there is a background check done on every student. I have no felonies or misdemeanors, but i do have a few violations (summons; tickets) that I have paid the fines on. I want to know what exactly are they looking for in the background checks and if I can be rejected if I have violations. Thank you.

This is something happening more frequently in schools with radiology programs. Nursing has done it for a long time though as have other medical specialties. _________________ Funny Man Laws Free Radiology CME
