I grad with an AAS in radiologic technology. I am registered, also a registered mammo tech and also a registered diagnostic medical sono tech.. whew..anyway, I always wanted a bachelor's in radiography or what
have you. My school was going to do that but...they didn't. I dont know if
any school around me is. Anyone know who offers one or one online that is
reputable? I have lots and lots of courses that didnt even pertain to my degree from University of Louisville. If I can't find a bachelors in xray..what else could I stream into?

"ARRT Study Reaffirms Current Educational Eligibility Requirement
(ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA - June 11, 2002) - Citing results from six recent studies, ARRT's Board of Trustees has determined that its current educational eligibility requirement for certification in radiation therapy is appropriate for entry-level practice, and that the Registry will not adopt a baccalaureate degree requirement for certification in radiation therapy.

Bachelors of Science, Bachelors in Healthcare Administration, Bachelors of Science just to name a few.

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but I thought it might help. I plan to apply to their program next year (Morehead State University, Morehead KY). They offer a Bachelor of Science Degree in Imaging Sciences (BSIS). Good Luck!

Hi Jenn, I got a BS in Radiological Sciences and Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., after an AA in Radiography. That allowed me to do CT, Cardiac Cath, Interventional Rad, then management for a few years. It qualified me for jobs in sales, applications and other positions in the peripheral sector. It allowed me to get into PA school too. So getting the BS or BA allows for many, many options. Good luck to you! -JB
