i would advise everyone to never report anything to the ethics committee.I was involved in a accident and charged with dui and veh assault because i hit a guy ridding a bike back in 03.I caused bodily injuries and was delt with by then state justly,and i accepted my punishment.But like a fool I beleived thatonce I reported it to the ethics committee they would still allow me to work.Well I was wrong.The accident happened on a sun and had nothing to do with my job it was somrthing that could happen to anyone.I have never been in trouble before or had a dui before.When i reported to the ethics committeee the suspende it until 05.I hired amedical attorney and met with the committee and my attorney even said afterwiord that he had nevwer in his 10yrs of representing doctors and nurses has hen seen such a group of people behavior in such a terrible manner.While both of us were speaking the members were lookiging round the room and not paying attention.When my attorney finished reading some of the letters that were written for me by some of the doctors,he asked how was it that they felt a need to suspend my certification when it it very clear from the letters that every doctor wanted me back to work with them.I had a excellent worh history.They never spoke to anyone i worked with at all.The ans they gave was because we can and we do not have to explaiin.What makes it even worse is that months prior Tom Kracker Ass ethics committee dir told me to send in a letter about everything i was going thur so i did nad then later he tells me that the ethics committee never wanted to look at my information in the first place.I was shocked and when i asked why he said he had to get off the phone.There is also a woman name Barb who is ablsolute jerk.When somthing like this occurs and you try to get as much info as possoble they are no help.They give you differen info and then when you call them on it they get mad.I was never allowed to spaek with anyone of importance until I told them I wanted to make a official complaint aganist the committeee and the front office there.Threre has been more things that i could go thur but what I found out is that the committeee cannot access you personal info with out your permission.They are the worse group of people I have ever come across that call them self a committee.I was asked questions in the meeting that had nothing to do with my case by Barb and my attorney had to ask what does that have to do with his case.And to please stay on tract here and their attorney agreed ,but just the fact taht she is allowed to ask stupid questions goe to haow much they are a group of fools who could care less about what they do.I was in the feild for 14 years and to have it all taken away for nothing that had to do with my job and to have the full support of my dept and every doctor and nurse,people that I have worked with for the past 7yrs that know me well makes no sense.And when you try and get a clear ans as to why and they refuse make me very angry.Iwas a teck in interventional and PRN in ct.So my advise is never ever trust anyone oon that committee.At one point I informed Tom Kracker that i was taping all our conversations because i am being told some many different things by people there that i do not trust them he yelled at me that i could no do that an hung up.So trust no one there
