|
Hello,
I'm new to these forums, although I've been reading them for a short while now. I would like to ask a question to those who are presently RT students about their application experience to the program.
Did anyone of you apply to more than one RT program at a time?
I'm currently taking prerequisite courses for one particular program. I've wondered about attempting to apply to more than one program, but I've found various programs differ on the courses they require for prerequisites.
So, I've wondered whether or not I should make it my aim to take a variety of courses so that I could apply to more than one school at a time, thus increasing my chances of acceptance. Has anyone done this? Is it even possible to apply to a program if you're not enrolled in the school already. I've tried to find this information but haven't been too successful yet.
I would be grateful for any knowledge or experience shared.
Thanks,
John |

I was accepted to the 2nd school I applied to.I think it is better to apply to as many programs/schools as you can. In my area there are a bunch of students who apply to several schools and many diff. programs because it is so competetive.I applied to a 2 yr. nursing program and rad. tech program at 2 diff schools because my sciences were about to expire, I am so glad to have been ACCEPTED!! take as many classes as you can. it wont hurt and can only help you in the end, Good Luck. |

Thank you for sharing that. It helps a lot and was just what I was thinking of doing.
Congratulations on your acceptance! |
