I just had my student orientation at my local county college for The Radiography program and I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of Math courses are needed. The instructor during the meeting said on the first semester, we will need to take a class called "Mathematics for Radiography". I would like to know what kind of math that I need to know about, because its my weakest area. For my Second semester, I will have to take "Radiation Biology and Physics".

I want to get started before hand and relearn things so I can be ready for the Fall course. Any replies will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Would your school have the course description? Also, talk to the program coordinator or a teacher. Perhaps they can give you a bit of insight.

Each program has their own variations. We didn't have a specific math course except for the pre-requisite college algebra. We did have physics though...be prepared for tons of formulas!!
