Boy I know what you went through, cross training from x-ray to ultrasound,on the job training, studying on your own, no one to guide you, books only tell you so much, you cant ask a book to explain it better if you dont get it, lots of research, lots of hours, but worth it, I scan 3 days a week, mammo 2 days..got my self registered in vascular and breast, now i am studying ob, and pelvic anomolies are difficult for me to scan. i know it just takes time. |

Congratulations on getting yourself registered! Do you have any words of wisdom for me? I too was cross trained from x-ray to sono and have recently been eligible to take my registry for physics and ob/gyn. As soon as I pass one of my tests I get a raise. The problem is finding good material and study methods. I work full time and come home to being full time mom and would appreciate any advice or tips.
Thanks |
