Hi Everyone!
Here's a question that has driven me crazy. Textbooks say that when imaging an AP sacrum the tube should be angled 15 degrees cephalad. Since the female pelvis has a sacrum that is more posteriorly angled than a male pelvis, should the angulation of the tube be greater than 15 degrees in a female patient?
Thanks so much for any feedback!!

I been doing xray for 37 yrs and yes, I do tend to give more angle for women. Especially if they have what we women sometimes call a 'shelf butt'). On those, I may give as much as 30-35 degrees.
