Hello and may God bless all,
I am just about ready to take my MRI exam. Can anyone here who has taken the test give me some good advice about what to do to prepare and also what to expect on the test. Let me know how difficult you thought the questions were and what you would do either more of or less of now that you have had the opportunity to experience the test. Thanks a lot. I hope to hear some helpful advice from some of you pro's out there. Again, God bless to all.

All I can say is know your pulse sequences. I took the MIC course for MRI, read "MRI in Practice", MRI registry review, and other books. There will be questions on pulse sequences, TE, TR, etc. Patient care, some pharmacology relating to gad chelates. I would get the ARRT content specs and go through them one by one and disect the info in the specs. It will give you everything that you need to know for the registry. There will also be equations that you will need to figure out such as scan time, gyromagnetic ratio and related equations. Just be prepared and take your time. It is a process of elimination. Only four answers per question and two of them will obviously be the wrong ones. Good luck, Gretchen
