Would It Be Possible For Me To Create My Own X-ray Or Mri Machine?

I’d like to create either one for a school project, but I’m not sure if that’s economically possible. Any sites that have instructions on how to build a cheap one? It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Thanks.

Building and operating machines that produce ionizing radiation is so dangerous that most states have laws that require builders and operators of such equipment, to have a special licence.
Find the BBC Radio science program that is called something like “The Naked Scientist”. They did an experiment which demonstrated that X-rays are produced when ordinary “sticky” tape is unrolled. In a dark room, you unroll some tape while holding a piece of film against the roll of tape. Their explanation of how the X-rays are produced, sounded right but I have not tried this experiment.

you can buy the film on ebay then try to use the sun for a long exposure. You will have to do research into how many x-rays are produced by the sun then compare it to how many are produce with a x-ray machine. You will have to use some other type of object to e-ray. Maybe a turckey leg or t-bone steak. If you try this make sure to try over and under exposing after you do the calculation.
You will have to get help developing this film. You might be able to get your doctor or dentist to help you.
I am still not sure this will work but even if your fail you will learn something.
