Biomedical engineering – it includes most of the premed classes, has good job opportunities if you don’t get into med school, and isn’t specific training for a job you’re not going to do.

Biomedical Engineering is NOT a good choice. Too many students go into Biomedical Engineering thinking they’ll be accepted to Medical School. Most don’t make it, and they’re stuck with a degree for which there are too few jobs at the Bachelor’s level. Better Majors that make pre-med easy would include:

    Bioprocess Engineering
    Biological Engineering
    Chemical Engineering (maybe Biochemical Engng)
    Pharmaceutical Sciences
