What’s The Best School For Mri Technologists?


I graduated from the X-Ray Technician program and trying to persue the MRI Technologist program.

    Most RTs will learn MRI on the job. The “schools” which offer MRI training are very expensive, and generally “teaching” students to make a bundle of money.
    Two of the three accredited MRI programs, listed by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, cost over $23,000 a year.http://www.jrcert.org/cert/Search.jsp
    I learned MRI on the job, and took my ARRT MRI registry examination. This is also how most RTs learn and become registered in mammography or CT scanning.
