How ’bout you hit the ol’ browser and find ‘em yourself?
MRI’s are used to take internal images or “pictures” inside your body. What used to do that in the 20th century? (Think X…..)
I think if you Google or Yahoo “MRI history” or “Magnetic Resonance Imaging history” you might find some goodies yourself. Here, cuz I like you, I’m including one.
You need to get over this mentality REAL FAST if you’re gonna make it in school, my friend.

Other clinical imaging modalities that were developed prior to MRI include, but not limited to:
    X-ray
    CT: computed tomography
    PET: positron emission tomography
These three are still used prevalently for clinical purposes.
As advised, you should consult your local library for detailed information to learn more about the aspects of MRI.

There was really no replacement – it was a new tool. It’s like adding a saw to your hammer & screwdriver set.
